Why can I not book a course?

Everyone who books on the course has to read and sign a pre-course contract. If it transcribes that you are currently suffering from severe mental health issues we will recommend you consult with your doctor before committing to a complimentary therapy course. We want you to trust us, and will only offer training to people we can help.

Why do I have to sign a confidentiality agreement?

It is vital that all our courses are held in an environment which fosters trust, openness and complete confidence.

What is Mindfulness Meditation?

Mindfulness Meditation is a state of active, open attention on the present. When you’re mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to experience, acknowledging each thought and then letting it pass.

What are the benefits of Mindfulness Meditation?

Over the last 100 years, thousands of scientific studies have been conducted. They have shown meditation to be one of the best ways to deal with stress and improve wellbeing. Mindfulness Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years.

Meditation is way to achieve deep relaxation, a healthier mind & body, stress relief, more confidence, improved relationships, enhanced concentration and memory and much more.

Do I have to stop or control my thoughts during Mindfulness Meditation?

No.  Mindfulness Meditation is not about trying to control the mind or stopping your thoughts.  In fact this is not possible. It is about being mindful about how you feel now, your current awareness to the space around, behind and in between your thoughts.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a natural healing system designed to assist in healing and help achieve balance. Reiki is a complimentary therapy and should never be used to replace treatment by your doctor / consultant.

The Reiki practitioner or Master places their hands over the recipient and transfers “Universal Life Energy.” This often results in a warm relaxing feeling for the person receiving Reiki.

Is Reiki a form of faith healing?

No, Reiki is not a religion, nor is it based on the acceptance of any religious doctrine. Having a belief system is not a requirement for Reiki to work. Reiki does not infringe on anyone’s right to believe what he or she wishes. However, Reiki’s principles are spiritual in nature and do encourage spiritual empowerment and growth.

Who can benefit from Mindfulness Meditation and a Reiki treatment?

Mindfulness Meditation and Reiki’s gift of increased energy and vitality can be extended to anyone. It doesn’t matter what a person’s gender, race, intelligence, or financial status is. Mindfulness Meditation and Reiki is not  reserved only for the elite, wealthy, educated, or spiritually evolved.

What does Reiki feel like?

Common Reiki sensations are heat or coolness, “pins and needles” tingling, vibrational buzzing, electrical sparks, numbness, throbbing, itchiness, and drowsiness.

What is a Reiki attunement?

A Reiki attunement is a ritual performed by a Reiki Master. The ritual involves energetic placement of Reiki symbols through a specific set of sequenced actions into the student’s crown and palms.

Will Reiki ever run out?

When you are giving a Reiki treatment to someone, you are giving of your time and your intent to assist, but you are not giving away any of your own energy. Reiki is in infinite supply. It never runs out.
